Hello, loves! We are eleven days into 2017 and I still can’t believe it’s a new year!
When I was coming up with blog content for January, I saw many other bloggers sharing lists of their most popular posts from the past year. Obviously, I couldn’t resist making my own. Since Glitter & Grandeur isn’t even a year old yet, I didn’t want to focus solely on statistics when I picked my content. Instead, I decided to include a variety of categories to showcase my best posts of 2016.
Without further ado, here they are!
Most Pageviews –
Inspirational Quotes for when Life Just Sucks – I am a sucker for a good inspirational quote. I think I pin those more than anything else on Pinterest. I love them! I compiled a list of my favorite quotes that helped me get through the tough times at the beginning of the year and created my own images to share with you all.
My Journey with HSP-Vasculitis – In 2016, I was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease HSP-Vasculitis. It was by far the toughest and scariest experience of my life. Instead of viewing it as a battle, I decided to consider it a journey. This is the story of how I dealt with illness and found the positivity in everything that crossed my path. With this post, I have been able to come into contact with 6 other women with HSP and we have comforted and shared tips with each other – it has been the most gratifying experience to know we are not alone.

The Ultimate Mood-Boosting Get Happy Playlist – Each month, I create a new playlist for my readers. This was the first installment of the series. Since I preach about positivity on G&G, I thought it was perfect to begin with a positivity playlist. This is probably my favorite playlist that I have made so far.
The Importance of To-Do Lists + Free Bullet Journal Topic Guide – This has been my most popular freebie. The bullet journal community is taking the world by storm! I always have at least two to-do lists going at a time. Some people think I’m too organized but to-do lists really help me stay on top of my game. They make me so much more productive – so, of course, I had to share this sentiment with my readers.

Motivational Monday vol.5: It Will Be Worth It – Whenever something bad happens, people say that everything happens for a reason – that everything will work out in the end. I have always believed that but sometimes it takes a long time to see the benefits. This is the story of how the trials and tribulations of 2016 ended up being worth it in the end. Stick to your guns. Do the hard work. It will be worth it.
How to Discover the Secret of Happiness – People always say that all they want in life is to be happy. This summer, I put a lot of thought into what makes me happy and how I can fit those things into my life more often. This is my list of ways you can find happiness and flourish throughout life.
How to Make the Perfect Musical Theatre Repertoire Book + Free Content Guide – This was one of my first posts for Glitter & Grandeur. Although it hasn’t reached a huge audience, I loved being able to put my degrees to work and make a consolidated list of genres necessary in a musical theatre repertoire book (or audition book). All aspiring Broadway performers need a good rep. book and I believe this list will help them make just that.

The Dream Killer – Comparison & How to Enjoy Your Craft – How often to we catch ourselves comparing our work & skills to others? How do we stop comparing? How do we start loving ourselves & our craft again? I explain the importance of not comparing in this post for Sara Strives.
Last Single Woman Standing – In the past couple years, I have become one of the last single girls in my friend groups. I wrote this post for His Endless Love in order to help other women see that it is not a bad thing to be single when all your other friends are in relationships or married.
Finding the Light: How to Stay Positive in Difficult Times – I wrote this post for My Darling Catastrophe. She and I both like to help people find mental happiness so we thought this topic would be perfect for her blog. Sometimes it’s difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel – the positivity in bad situations. In this guest post, I share my tips for staying positive.
