Halloween is almost upon us. I don’t know about you all, but I love Halloween music. Halloween is one of the few holidays that isn’t ruined by overplayed songs. Luckily, radio stations don’t tend to play spooky music for months leading up to Halloween [cough, Christmas, cough].
I have to be honest; I did get some help from my friends while creating this playlist so here is my official shout-out to them. 🙂 As the Beatles said, “I get by with a little help from my friends!” Sadly, that song isn’t on this playlist. Didn’t quite fit the vibe, you know?
Okay, so all of that was pretty cheesy…sorry. Bear with me, you’ll get to the songs soon enough.
Last year on Instagram, I shared some of my favorite costumes throughout the years. Keep in mind, most of these were for a class or performance; although it would be cool if I didn’t visibly age over six Halloweens. One of the perks of being a performer was that every day was dress-up day! Here are some of the highlights.

Anyway, I’m really excited about this playlist. I think it has a good mix of creepy, sultry, and fun. As per usual, I tried to use well-known songs as well as some not-as-obvious choices. Fast, slow, pop, rock, dance, indie, instrumental – it’s all in there. Make sure to click over to Spotify to follow it. Fair warning: it’s a long one – but it’s 100% worth it. I recommend listening to it on shuffle – makes it more surprising. 🙂
